Although Nintendo Switch Online has been a monumental service in terms of its offerings since its inception, it grew immensely in this measure earlier this year. In February, Nintendo announced the service will once again add a new virtual console – this time adding Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advanced to the lineup.
However, there is other promises the firm is still planning to make elsewhere. In a previously announcement, titles such as Mario Party, Goldeneye 007, and Pokémon Stadium were confirmed for the Nintendo 64 virtual console via Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier. So far, both Mario Party & Goldeneye 007 were injected into the service.
Now on Wednesday, Pokémon Stadium is officially coming to the service. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“Bring your best strategies to this battle arena game that features all 151 Pokémon from the Pokémon Red Version, Pokémon Blue Version, and Pokémon Yellow Version games. Take on challenging Cups and the Gym Leader Castle to show off your skills!” the description reads. “And if you need a break from battling, head to Kids Club where you and three other players* can enjoy nine different minigames, like Clefairy Says and Sushi-Go-Round!”
As for other recent additions to Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo confirmed that vouchers will be an exclusive benefit for subscribers. In that, members will be able to purchase these tickets for unique discounts on a bevy of first-party and select third-party titles on the Nintendo eShop.
