Although Microsoft has proven time and time again to poorly pace releases from its first-party slew of studios, fall 2023 is already shaping up to be quite eventful. In September, Starfield from Bethesda Game Studios is to launch for Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, Forza Motorsport – the official reboot for the racing sim is to return the month following in October.
So far, developer Turn 10 Studios confirmed the 2023 No. 01 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R & 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray are to be the starring cover cars for the new release. However, some controversy has arisen as well. For one, career mode asks to be connected to the internet to access. Even more is the number of confirmed game modes absent from the launch version of Forza Motorsport.
Looking ahead, Turn 10 Studios & Microsoft officially launches pre-orders for Forza Motorsport sharing details on the contents of the editions. You can view the full details in the image below:
“Pre-order the Forza Motorsport Premium Edition and play up to 5 days early beginning October 5, 2023. Xbox Game Pass members (PC, Console and Ultimate), as well as Forza Motorsport Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition players, can upgrade to the Premium Add-Ons Bundle to receive early access and all other add-on content included in the Premium Edition,” Turn 10 Studios Forza Motorsport creative director Chris Esaki notes.
In a similar turn of events, Microsoft is also offering the same perk for Starfield as well. Whilst there is the Premium Edition which offers the full game plus the post-launch season pass and additional content also includes access to the full game early.
