The craze for Sonic the Hedgehog continues to turn heads in 2024. This has been illustrated with growing anticipation for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in theaters later this month. Alongside that, fans of the cinematic universe did get a taste of the series with Knuckles earlier this year as well. Not to mention the recent release for Sonic x Shadow Generations in October.

“Sonic X Shadow Generations is a strong dual game experience that marries nostalgia with innovation. It’s nice to revisit Sonic’s old stomping grounds from 11 years ago but the real star of the show is Shadow’s brand new campaign. I guess there’s still plenty of life left in Sega’s iconic mascot and his edgy counterpart,” Rectify Gaming wrote for the game’s review; scoring the title 8.5/10.

Another interesting title on the way is Sonic Rumble. Initial revealed as Sonic Toy Party, Sega later relabeled the Fall Guys-like experience to the current title. Earlier this year, a closed beta for the game was held in May 2024. Now, Sonic Rumble is officially opening its pre-registration for the mobile/PC release coming in the near future.

“The pre-registration campaign also launched on December 5, 2024, to coincide with the start of store reservations. In this campaign, the rewards you will receive in the game after the official launch will level up according to the number of pre-registrations. The more people who pre-register, the more exciting the items you can get,” the press release reads.

As per the official tracker that is now live, rewards for Sonic Rumble pre-registrations includes the following: 200K – Rings x5000, ?K – Happy Sticker, ?K – Crystal Chao buddy, ?K – Garnet Knuckles Skin, and ?K – Movie Sonic Skin. Are you excited to get your hands on Sonic Rumble soon?
