Recent Sea Of Thieves Season Eight Content Update Roughens The Tides With More PvP Features And Beyond Life Customization

Enter Sea of Thieves, the game has evolved greatly over the past year. When Season Five came around, players discovered treasure can now be buried for other users to uncover. Other seabound commodities include cannon-wielding rowboats and flares to cast into the sky. For Season Six, story was given a revamp with new adventures & mysteries injected into the world. Sea forts also inhabited the waters of the map which brought more for players to explore.

Additionally, Season Seven was no different with even more to experience. In that, being captain became an official role as you could now customize the internal living quarters. This branched to the option to purchase fully-equipped vessels also which you can brand with your own appropriate name as well.

Now recently, Rare included Season Eight for Sea of Thieves which goes a step further for users interested in exploring more PvP options for the game. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

Now, in-game matchmaking has a proper place as you can choose between ‘The Guardian’ and ‘The Servant’ factions opens that window. Turn the hourglass on your ship and players will plunge to the ocean’s depths as they search for a potential candidate for battle. When finding an armed suitor, you’ll rise from the waves and fight. Completing successfully will reward you with allegiance which adds notoriety to your profile. Enough grants you a ‘Faction Champion’.

What is more interesting is that the new update also includes a new character customization option. Best worded: “Should you become a Servant devoted enough to take skeletal form, you’ll find further customisation options on offer from the Bonesmith to help you fully express your skeletal self.” that’s right, you can become part of the undead and even alter your appearance alike your living form as well.
