
For the majority of the Halo anthology in terms of player creativity, many glance over to the Forge feature in-game which allows players craft their own maps and experiences with assets from the full game. However, there is also a modding community hungry to experiment further with the series as well. Previously, 343 Industries pressed mod support is being tinkered with internally for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Additionally, some users already commenced efforts to work new experiences into the game. From Twitter user @nibre_, the individual is most recognized for their efforts to create a full virtual reality mod for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. With glimpses of Halo Reach already functioning, the user is also noted for their work on MotherVR and Alien Isolation VR as well.
In a new finding from ResetEra poster wwm0nkey, @nibre_ is now part of the 343 Industries staff. “Engineer on @Halo MCC”, the new description reads on their Twitter profile. Even more interesting is that @nibre_ recently announced to be holding off on ReclaimerVR earlier this month which could signify their new role at the Halo developer.
As for future plans for the Halo franchise this recently, 343 Industries expands on its ambitions for the post-launch segment of Halo Infinite. In that, the first official season dubbed ‘Heroes of Reach’ is told to be available across the span of three month and other details disclose a player-first approach for how players unlock items in-game.
Previously, Microsoft indicated that Xbox Game Pass on PC is a large benefactor for the performance of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, In that, the game since releasing on PC has found more than 10 million users – many of which are said to be foreign to the series.
