This past E3 really surprised many viewers of the week-long event from the upcoming titles that were showcased through the handful of press conferences held throughout Los Angeles, California. One reveal that really baffled fans was Remedy Entertainment at Sony’s Press Conference.

The Finnish studio primarily known for their two previous titles exclusive to Microsoft’s platform revealed a new and abstract title, Control. Remedy’s latest title puts the player in the shoes of Jesse Faden as she goes on a journey to discover the source for the new powers she recently acquired. Voiced by Courtney Hope, who is previously known for her work on NCIS, Bones, and more recently with Remedy’s 2015 time changing title, Quantum Break.

This month’s cover for Game Informer’s magazine is the upcoming title and currently features new information on the anticipated title such as the game to host horror elements since the game is defined as a “supernatural thriller”. As well as the general time frame for the forthcoming.

Shared from the video game outlet, that Control is expected to release sometime this Summer. But for a particular date to mark on your calendars has yet to be released from either Game Informer or Remedy Entertainment as of yet.

Previously one of Remedy Entertainment’s titles, Alan Wake, reappeared on Steam following the game’s license expiring which resulted with the game to be removed from both PC and Xbox platforms. The cult classic title is also receiving a televised adaptation which is said to be produced by the company behind Dead Rising: watchtower as well.

Control will be out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC later this Summer.
