There has been a lot of great positives for the Nintendo Switch with them hitting 32 million units sold going into 2019According to a recent report, Nintendo is planning on releasing a smaller version of the Switch and it is supposed to be cheaper. Nikkei reports that the company told multiple suppliers and game developers plans to release a more portable version of the Nintendo Switch later this year the earliest.

All of this information once again should be taken with a grain of salt, but it wouldn’t be surprising if this happens since Nintendo is a company that has made multiple different versions of their 3DS. The Switch is already portable, it’ll be interesting to see how the rumored next version of the console will look like since it will emphasize portability more and the specs of the system will be something to look out for as well.
