Capcom has been slowly putting its games on Apple’s latest devices such as the iPhone 15 Pro Models, all iPhone 16 models, and every iPad and Mac with the M1 chip or later. Today, the publisher and developer announced Resident Evil 2 will come to Apple Devices on December 10, 2024.
Before deciding to purchase Resident Evil 2 on the Apple App Store there is a free demo to download before purchasing. This will give players just a portion of the gripping story that Resident Evil 2 has to offer.
Resident Evil 2 supports Universal Purchase and cross-progression, enabling players to enjoy Leon and Claire’s journey through Raccoon City across iPhone, iPad, and Mac and transfer saved data between devices.

Resident Evil 2 on iPhone and iPad includes enhanced controls along with a new Auto Fire feature, giving players the option to automatically fire weapons after aiming at enemies for a short time. The game also supports a variety of controllers that are compatible with iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
This now makes four Resident Evil games available on iOS devices with Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard already available.
