Epic Games had a busy Saturday with announcements of new content coming to Fortnite within the next week and beyond. Initially, they released the official Chapter 5 trailer that revealed new features like Weapon Mods, Wall Clambering, crossovers with Peter Griffin, Solid Snake, and more.
The other series of announcements were for new games coming to Fortnite like LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival. The third one was Rocket Racing which had been leaked earlier, but it’s a game in Fortnite developed by Rocket League creators, Psyonix. This is a completely different game mode than your typical Battle Royale game and the full reveal will come at The Game Awards on Thursday, December 7, 2023, the day before Rocket Racing releases.
Although the official reveal comes in less than a week, images have already been leaked (what a surprise). Some of the vehicles included are the Lamborghini Huracan STO, Diesel, Scorpion, Cyclone, Jager 619, and the Octane. In the future players will be able to edit the Drift Smoke and Boost on your Rocket Racing vehicles.
Some of the maps already leaked and they are Olympus, Snap, Rally, Ouroboros, Riviera, Apollo, and Turbine and there’s a Tutorial map.
Here is the full description of Rocket Racing from Epic Games:
Rocket Racing is a supersonic arcade racer where players drift, fly, and boost with friends through an ever-growing selection of tracks.
