It seems that rumors have started to circulate around the possibility of hello games’ No Man’s Sky coming to Nintendo Switch according to a recent finding on GameStop’s website. ResetEra user Plebc posted in a thread speculating in what could come at today’s E3 Nintendo Direct a listing that revealed No Ma’s Sky listed for the Nintendo Switch.
The listing originates from offers that customers can use when trading in items towards things like video games or other gaming-related gear. The user discovered the listing through the GameStop Sweden domain, so this could have been a mishap through that version of the retailer’s website.
But the event-focused Direct came and went, leaving us still with no version of the game for Nintendo’s hybrid platform. This does not rule out the possibility entirely as this is a listing through a storefront, but currently there’s no chance we will see the announcement anytime soon.
As the game is available on other major platforms, there is no reason the game shouldn’t make its way over to the Switch. Looking at some of the extra features exclusive to the Nintendo Switch like gyro controls and extra sensory rumbling in the joy cons, developer Hello games could make a more immersive version of the 2016 title if planned to drop on the eShop.
Previously, Hello games announced that their space exploration title will get a proper multiplayer feature through the upcoming Beyond update planned to drop in the coming future.
