ESRB ratings have confirmed more physical releases are coming for Xbox Game Studios titles. It was revealed that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is getting a physical release for Nintendo Switch via Limited Run Games.
Another ESRB listing confirms that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be getting a physical release for Xbox Series and PS5. This would also come from Limited Run Games. A date for the physical copies have not been revealed yet nor did LRG confirm any of this.
Whenever a rating comes out for any game that usually means a release is happening in the very near future. Or at least news regarding the rated game.
Microsoft and Ninja Theory announced that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be coming to PS5 this Summer. PC and Xbox Series versions will also be receiving an enhanced update.
In our review of Hellblade II, we scored it a 10 out of 10. While it’s a short game, it’s one of the very few games during this generation that takes advantage of all the power it’s handed with the Xbox Series X. When it released in May 2024, it only received a digital release, but now it looks like Microsoft is willing to let third-party companies handle the physical releases.
