Mentioned previously that within the 11 new maps being introduced for the newest installment of the Call of Duty franchise, four classic maps will be returning and reworked for its futuristic setting. Slums, Jungle, and Summit will be playable when the launches.
For the fourth map, Nuketown, will be coming later as part of the game’s line of post-launch content. Treyacrh has revealed on Twitter a tease of what we might see from the fan favorite map.

The Russian phrase quoted on the tweet translate to “Visit us again… For the first time here”. The image seems to be going back to the series’ Cold War-style roots with the Russian influenced design and text on the Nuketown sign. Along with snow being a new addition to the map, will twist how we already see the map.
Nuketown has received several makeovers since the first Black Ops in 2010. Each installment reworking the design to compliment the game’s respected time period. The map even got the zombies treatment with a rundown version of the map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. And more recently with Nuketown Island for the new Blackout battle royale mode.
Treyarch has not mentioned when fans will be able to get their first full view of the anticipated map, but it’s best to expect we might see video reveal surfacing around the end of the month or even in early November.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
