Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is officially rated PG

While there has been great anticipation for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 from Paramount Pictures, the official rating for the movie hasn’t been officially announced. It was leaked in the Summer that Sonic 3 could be rated PG-13, but that turned out to be false.

AMC Theatres has officially confirmed via its website listing that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will be rated PG and of course, will run at 1 hour and 49 minutes.

It was exclusively reported by Entertainment Weekly that Sonic 3 will introduce a new character at the end to set up the next Sonic film. The reveal will most likely happen during the post-credit scene like we saw Shadow at the end of Sonic 2.

Sonic 3 comes to theaters on December 20, 2024.
