In recent months, Stadia – specifically its Stadia Pro service, like it usually does – has provided a steady stream of larger AAA releases alongside other small projects from independent developers. Compared to Xbox Games with Gold and even PlayStation Plus before the revamp, Stadia Pro was some real competition. In July, we saw games like Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, Worms W.M.D., and Those Who Remain then.

Additionally, August’s new titles also featured the same trend. In that, games such as Calico, Saints Row: The Third – Remastered, and Shantae Half Genie Hero Ultimate Edition were all showcased for this month. So for September, the pattern is expected to continue mending together as we transition into the fall.

Additionally, new information has surfaced in terms of Stadia as a platform in recent weeks. One is the potential that Stadia Games & Entertainment when it was still up and running. After the closure of the first-party division, many questioned what games were part of the overall plan. Well, it was reported that Supermassive Games’ The Quarry and Squanch Games’ High on Life were both originally slated to be unique releases for the streaming platform.
