ORIGINAL:
Earlier in the week we knew THQ Nordic had three new game reveals coming prior to E3 2019. Today, the company announced SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated which is a remaster of the original 2003 game that released on Xbox, GameCube and PlayStation 2. The remake will be launching on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game will be releasing at some point in the future as all we got was a brief 20-second teaser.
We aren’t sure when we’ll hear more about Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehyrdated, but we could receive some new information during E3 next week or sometime during the Summer. There is two more games THQ Nordic is showing off before the weekend begins and who knows it could be another remaster of a classic title and something new.
According to a recent financial report, THQ Nordic has 80 games in development and it’s no question some of those are remasters.
Stay tuned for more news.
