When reiterating back to the most recent Ubisoft Forward presentation this past September, publisher Ubisoft finally pulled the cat out of the bag that is Immortals Fenyx Rising. After an unanticipated campaign of leaks and premature listings for the game, the firm shared an official gameplay demo of the game alongside the very soon December launch window for the coming Ubisoft Quebec project.

Most unique about the previously-dubbed Gods & Monsters is the marketed platform for the game: Google-owned Stadia. In the past, Ubisoft has collaborated with Google and its stream-based platform. Before Stadia was on the official website, Ubisoft featured Assassin’s Creed Odyssey with Project Stream to sample the capabilities of the new platform.

But for Immortals Fenyx Rising, there is more to that. Ubisoft announced there would be an exclusive demo on Stadia for users to play the game ahead of its commercial debut later this holiday season. Now, that has shipped with a trailer which you can view in the video below:

“The demo sends Fenyx on a quest to discover the mysterious Secret of the Cyclops after Zeus wrests the narration away from Prometheus,” the synopsis for the demo reads. “Set in a new archipelago inspired by Aphrodite, the goddess of love, the demo will feature a mix of combat, exploration, and puzzles designed to get players primed for the full experience.”

Ubisoft explains that the demo will also come with benefits upon completion. When logging into your Uplay account and reaching the end of the demo, users will receive decorative armor and helmet through the Stadia Armor Set. The demo is told to be up from October 22 until October 29 next Thursday.

You can visit the Stadia website to play the demo by heading here.
