While Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order shipped back in November 2019, the developer decided to return to the game with a patch to optimize the game for the next-generation of consoles at the time. In that, the update went on to target the standards for the Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 including 60 frames per second and 4K resolution. Of course, that varies with the two options made for the experience.

However, that is not all it appeared later on. From a rating  in Germany, it was revealed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was also listed for the same aforementioned systems respectively; implicating a port is on the way for the latest hardware on the market. Following the discovery, Respawn Entertainment confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is to hit both Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 this coming summer.

In an abrupt announcement on Friday, Respawn Entertainment announced to release Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for the latest Xbox and PlayStation devices. Although the initial improvements from the update before targeted its promises, the new versions are more likely to achieve what is listed thanks to being a dedicated release.

You can read the new details offered by Respawn Entertainment in the list below:

Higher Resolution Textures & Assets
4K/HDR Resolution

Additionally, Respawn Entertainment reiterates that players already owning Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on older hardware can expect to find the game ready on the next iteration. However, how PlayStation & Xbox handles cross-buy varies, of course. Simply launch the digital copy or insert the physical disk which acts as the key to the next-gen version for the game, Respawn tells.

However, it is unsure if this new versions is anticipated to be added to EA Play or not. For certainty, there are a number of players that own Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. But, it is undetermined if the new version is primed for the service and subscriber perk. You can read the initial report by heading here.
