Starfield is now available to those who purchased the Premium Edition or the Premium Edition Upgrade as it allows five days of early access before its official release on September 6. While it’s available on Xbox Series XlS, it’s also on PC via Steam and the player numbers in its first 24 hours are already strong.

In the first 24 hours, Starfield on Steam hit 217,273 players while the all-time peak is currently 234,502 players online at once. That means a few hundred thousand players willingly spent $100.00 USD to play Starfield early while receiving other in-game content for the future and now.

This comes as no surprise since Starfield was the Top Selling Game on Steam ahead of its early access release. Bethesda also confirmed that Starfield will receive mod support for console and PC.
