In a developing change for the better, Electronic Arts is hoping to bring more players with newer updates coming to Apex Legends. Previously, CEO Andrew Wilson established that the IP is looking to explore beyond its battle royale DNA. And with the arrival of Season 22 – Shockwave, it is featuring this new approach for the ongoing live-service.

Already, players witnessed this with the last event that came to Apex Legends – Void Reckoning Event. In that, the game introduced the first ever 12v12 game mode to Apex Legends increasing the mayhem in-game. Additionally, there is more that has been set since then. With the arrival of the new season, Trios Revival was erected shaking the foundation for typical battle royale.

From the new trailer for Apex Legends event – Temporal Chaos Collection Event – Straight Shot returns with a new ‘Revival’ variant. The event goes live from August 13th to September 3rd. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“Straight Shot Revival drops hot, along with some shocking updates. First up, unlimited Free respawns ‘til the end of Round 3, so you can easily charge back into the fight. Next, an increased Akimbo and LMG drop rate to really let the bullets fly. So grab a kitted gun, rush in, and get amped—you’ll always have another straight shot. Straight Shot Revival kicks off August 20, 2024 and runs until September 3, 2024.

What still remains fresh in many players’ minds is the recent adjustment to the battle pass. After initial plans to reform it into two segments requiring the use of real-time currency, outcry from the community did leave the developer to undo the change that was in motion.
