Halo and 343 Industries has been the talk of the week since Microsoft announced they made layoffs the impacted a large part of the Campaign team for Halo. It also saw Joseph Staten leaving the studio to work with Microsoft Publishing and this made fans worried about the future of the franchise.

With a large amount of the talented individuals that worked on the single-player part of Halo questions have come up if there will ever be a new Campaign to the series and who could develop it outside of 343 Industries.

Today, Studio Head Pierre Hintze made a statement through the official Halo Twitter account saying “Halo and Master Chief are here to stay”

“Halo and Master Chief are here to stay.

343 Industries will continue to develop Halo now and in the future, include epic stories, multiplayer, and more of what makes Halo great”

The statement is a little vague and still leaves fans with questions about the future of Halo Infinite and the franchise.
