Despite the longing wait for Rocksteady Studios’ next major title Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the wait is not too far away. In its latest trailer at 2022’s The Game Awards, the U.K.-based developer reveals a new trailer including a fresh April 2023 release date. Previously, the new, next-generation title was slated to ship in late 2022 before being pushed to a launch window aimed for this year.
Additionally, Rocksteady Studios faced some world-shaking news over the past month. In that, co-founder Sefton Hill & Jamie Walker shared to be stepping down from their leading roles at the game studio. Not to mention the very unfortunate news of the death of voice actor Kevin Conroy who passed at the age of 66.
While Conroy voiced the Dark Knight in the Arkham trilogy developer by Rocksteady Studios, he also finished his work prior to the passing of the beloved actor – which was revealed in the latest trailer.
