It was in late June that Polish developer Techland would be dishing out its new add-on for Dying Light, Hellraid. The initial announcement can as a surprise for the 2015-released title seeing how were are in the presence of the sequel to Dying light in the coming future. The new DLC, while unique in its own way, is a project that took structure prior to the release of Dying Light. But, the titular title never held its composure and fell apart.
With the discussion focused on the new playable expansion for the parkour, zombie-killing title, Techland revealed that the downloadable content will be arriving on July 23 this month. However, that decision might have been a little too ambitious for the project according to a new post made by the developer.
Elaboration on Hellraid, Techland revealed recently that the DLC does require just a little more time and will be pushed to the middle of August to receive its final touches on the new experience.
We received tons of great feedback during our beta of Dying Light – Hellraid. Big thanks to everyone who participated! We’re hell-bent on applying your suggestions, so we will be launching the new game mode on August 13 for PC, and August 14 for consoles. pic.twitter.com/3rqp680b7P

In addition to the game now requiring some extra fixings thanks to the reception of the community, Techland will be shipping the game on two separate dates. On August 13, Hellraid will be coming to PC and following with its console counterparts which will arrive the following day.
Although the add-on only expands on Dying light as far as a new “game mode”, Techland words it, Hellraid will include a ranking system for players to grind out and give initiative to return for medieval slashing. And if you don’t want to go alone, friends can join your party and fight against hellspawn in the new DLC when it arrives next month.
Will you be fine waiting a little bit longer for Hellraid to arrive later this August?
Dying Light is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
