The Behemoth Announces Alien Hominid Invasion, A “Reinvention” Of The Previous Release

Developer The Behemoth these past few months have been very quiet regarding what is next for their unique palette of titles. The release of Pit People will be two years ago this March and Castle Crashers Remastered just debuted for both Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch last year, what’s next?

Well, the studio shared earlier this week that “#Game5” will be revealed this Thursday, which is today. And unsure what exactly this game would come out to be, we patiently sit and wait to learn.

Now that the day has arrived, The Behemoth shares that the next big game from the development team is a long-awaited return to their debuting entry, Alien Hominid. Instead, the studio declares this new title to be a “reinvention” of the re-released 2010 version, Alien Hominid HD. Sharing that this new version will offer new progressions systems, gameplay, and transparently a new coat of paint.

Aside from the most notable statements following the reveal, there are no other major details that were shared. However, The Behemoth does clarify that those who are interested will not have to wait long as Alien Hominid Invasion will be playable at both PAX East 2020 and EGX Razzed. Penny Arcade Expo will be running from February 27 to March 1 whilst the following European event will take place from March 26 to March 28.
