The Game Awards 2019: Netherrealm Studios Gives First Look Of Mortal Kombat 11’s Joker

The hype for Mortal Kombat 11 while still prevalent and well-tamed today, it has been pretty quiet in contrast to the time prior to the full reveal for the game’s current Kombat Pass. Already knowing the arrival of Sheng Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, and Spawn, what really had fans on the edge of their seats were the remaining two. Of course, rumors & leaks were always around the corner atop of studio head Ed Boon also fueling the fire, so there was plenty of noise to be heard.

But that was until this past August that Netherrealm Studios officially revealed that Terminator and Joker will be arriving to the game. The character based on the likeness of actor and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger already happened to slip through the leaking cracks, so fans were suspecting his debut more so than Joker. For the Prince of Crime, many were astonished by the reveal since a handful of them felt the previous teaser was misleading for Evil Dead’s Ash Williams and a waste of a character slot.

Regardless, Joker is still on his way and just this week received a teaser for his appearance to the game alongside his companion Harley Quinn. You can watch the Game Awards teaser below:

For the most part, no details regarding the character’s looks has been shared following the rendered look of the upcoming addition. However, it is still exciting to finally see him in his virtual flesh processed into the game. What are your thoughts on Jokers look in the game?
