The Last of Us Season 2 has debuted with its first episode available on HBO and streamed on Max. The new season is already off to a strong start as Warner Bros. announced The Last of Us Season 2 delivered 5.3M viewers across the United States. This outpaced the Season 1 premiere by more than 10% it was announced.

While Season 2 of The Last of Us has been underway, Warner Bros. wasted no time to announce they have renewed the TV series for a Season 3.

Season 2 is expected to have only 7 episodes and average around 1 hour in length. The first episode gave us a look at new characters that are also featured in The Last of Us Part II. Abby and her side of the story is teased throughout the episode; she has a true hatred for what sounds to be Joel. New infected enemies are also showcased in a scene with Ellie.

In other news related to The Last of Us, Sony has announced The Last of Us Complete: Collector’s Edition, which features The Last of Us Part I and Part II Remastered. The collection will be available this Summer for $109.99.
