ORIGINAL:
The Outer Worlds by Obsidian Entertainment has been a game many people have been excited about. In fact, there will be a panel at PAX East next week on March 30th with the co-game directors of the title and we could see some announcements there. Not too long ago a possible leaked release date for the game was revealed for August 6th, 2019. According to a recent post from ResetEra, they’ve spotted that outlet, PCGamesN had deleted a tweet regarding its launch on PC. The tweet confirmed that The Outer Worlds would launch exclusively on the Epic Games Store for PC.
Here is the image of the tweet below:
It seems that the timing of it was not right as you look at the link it shows an article about the KONAMI Anniversary Collection. The article will probably include other titles that are coming to the Epic Games Store since it says “Epic has announced that a suite of upcoming titles – will launch exclusively on the store”. The official announcement might now happen until the PAX East panel that we mentioned above, but time will tell. It’s also worth noting that there is a page on Steam for The Outer Worlds, but now we could expect it to launch on there a year later.
There was a Survival Mode teased for The Outer Worlds not too long ago, so that is something we could possibly see next week as well. In November it was revealed that Microsoft acquired Obsidian Entertainment.
The Outer Worlds was already aimed for a release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
