
It was already suggested from the recently discovered trademark that a new Plants Vs. Zombies title is primed to be revealed in the coming weeks atop of the listing for a Q319-scheduled release date according to a previous financial report for Electronic Arts. But now, fans who have been keeping close to the ground surrounding the unannounced title are aware that the reveal is closer than we might have thought.
The announcement trailer for Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville has been leaked showing off some of the new additions that will be coming to the upcoming installment for the series. Though the video is mostly a cinematic trailer, there are plenty of new gameplay elements that were not present in previous titles.

One being the acorn character that is equipped with a miniature cannon onto of its head: though the small stature, the plant-sided character does hone a nimble movement speed. As well as the mushroom ninja character that the internet quickly picked up as one of the more appreciated additions to the title. Zombies as well have received a few new characters as seen from the trailer.
Following the trailer being posted online, the user that uploaded the trailer also suggested that the unannounced title will in fact be coming to Nintendo Switch as well. Although the trailer does hold credibility to being legitimate, it is safe not to take the detail referring to a Switch version as truth until properly revealed. The most suited reveal would be this coming Gamescom which is scheduled to kick off next week in Cologne, Germany.
Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is expected to at least launch for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC sometime later this Fall.
