Ubisoft Quebec Showcases Three Expansions Following immortals Fenyx Rising In Post-Launch

While developer Ubisoft Quebec has been quietly working on Immortals Fenyx Rising for majority of 2020, the Canadian game studio broke its silence to unveil the game’s release date landing on the first few days of December. And while there is plenty anticipated to be found in the base game, there is also addition content that will be injected as part of the title’s post-launch campaign.

While much is still undetermined as to the arrival of said expansions for Immortals Fenyx Rising, Ubisoft Quebec spares that there will be three in total. Among those, the latter two will feature two new playable characters which we will learn about when the respected add-on arrives in the coming future.

In a new post-launch video, Game Director Julien Galloudec elaborates on the premise of the trio of expansions for Immortals Fenyx Rising. You can read the three overviews below:

A New God – You play as Fenyx after the events of the main game: an adventure Typhon and she will have the opportunity to visit Olympus – that is the home of the gods. And there she will take new epic challenges and those challenges will change both the fate of Fenyx and also of the Greek Pantheon.

Myths of the Eastern Realm – Takes us away from the golden isle and the Greek world to explore Chinese mythology. You will play a new hero, Ku, that’s gonna embark in a new adventure in the funding myth of the Chinese Mythology. And you will meet new exotic creatures as you explore this new world and story of the Immortals Fenyx Rising universe.

The Lost Gods – We go back into the Greek World with a brand new top-down gameplay and a new hero named Ash. Ash will grow stronger through the adventure building a relationship with Fenyx and meeting with new gods in order to bring back balance to the Greek world. The new progression system we have in the third DLC will allow you to create your own playstyle and to experiment with a lot of parameters as you play in the brawler and isometric game.

In addition to the in-detailed story expansions for Immortals Fenyx Rising, Ubisoft Quebec also offers Season Pass owners a new quest, ‘When the Roads get Rocky’. In addition to that, the firm will also be releasing a string of content divided between community contests, cosmetics, daily & weekly quests, and vault challenges following the game’s release.

Elsewhere recently, Ubisoft Quebec also issued the PC specifications for Immortals Fenyx Rising. In the blog post, the game is illustrated to ask for 28 GB of player hard drive space. You can read the full report by heading here.
