In the past couple of days this week, fans begin to slowly learn more of the coming Gods & Monsters title. This past Monday, it was reported that the 2019-announced title from developer Ubisoft Quebec might now be classified as Immortals: Fenyx Rising. Which does come to be likely seeing that the publisher previously disclosed that the game would be receiving more changes including a new name and that the title’s protagonist is named Fenyx.
Howbeit, we later learned that the new title for the Ancient Greece project is actually Immortals Fenyx Rising. In a new announcement shared by Ubisoft the following day this past Tuesday, the firm disclosed there would be a second Ubisoft Forward and the upcoming project would in fact be at the approaching showcase.
Now ahead of the virtual presentation scheduled to take place next Thursday, September 10, new details for Immortals Fenyx Rising has surfaced online. In a finding on the Microsoft Store, the aforementioned title is listed with a release date slated for December 3rd.
“Immortals Fenyx Rising brings grand mythological adventure to life,” the description reads for the game’s synopsis. “Play as Fenyx, a new, winged demigod, on a quest to save the Greek gods. The fate of the world is at state – you are the gods’ last hope.”
Elaborating on the game featured in the body of the synopsis, we learn firsthand on what is set for the core gameplay. Elements such as combat is said to take place both on the planet’s surface alongside in the sky. Fenyx will be equipped with an arsenal of skills and abilities suited for the era with “self-guided arrows” and other godly powers.
As of reporting, the listing has now been delisted from the Microsoft Store which insinuates the spared details were intended to be spared during next week’s Ubisoft Forward. The most surprising happens to be the game’s release date. Taken that the game is has not been very involved since its inception last June, it was presumed we would not see a 2020 release for the game.
With that in mind, it is also suggested that next-generation consoles are also in mind for Immortals Fenyx Rising also. With that, the now-removed listing even shares that Smart Delivery is compatible with the upcoming project. It is presumed that Sony is also working on doing the same with its in-house cross-gen initiative as well.
