Untitled Goose Game Gets Lego Set Submitted For Lego Ideas, Voting Supports Potential Retail Release

For users who have hop in on the hijinx of House House’s Untitled Goose Game recently on Xbox or PlayStation or have been participating since the initial launch this past Fall, you are going to be excited about this. It was discovered this week over on the Lego Ideas website that the titular goose chaos simulator has been submitted for an official Lego set.

The listing shows to re-imagine the first instance you play in the game through the medium of Lego. The set portrayed offers a handful of unique pieces including but not limited to: apple, carrot, goose sign, hammer, ice chest, jam, key, loose foliage, rose bush, sprinkler, shovel, and sun hat.

The listing also tells that more mini-figures aside from the gardener would also be included in the set if coming to reality, but “no others fit this scene.” Due to the set being on Lego Ideas, you can visit the listing and vote to support the set towards becoming a legitimate retail launch. Noted, Lego does explain that the listing was only posted due to the set being a Staff Pick. Which they clarify that regardless of how many votes will not ultimately dictate whether or not the set will officially release, but support count does sway more attention to it.

It’s not 100% about the model itself, but we also reward great pictures and presentation. It doesn’t matter if your project has 100 supporters or 5000 supporters, they’ve all got a chance as long as they can WOW us!

Currently as of reporting the Lego set, there are roughly 3,100 supporters behind the listing, 3,112 exactly. Since the listing first emerged, the post time period was extended by an additional 365 days once achieving a hundred votes the same day it was posted. Then yesterday received an addition 182 days for reaching 1K votes to support the sets journey to 5,000.

Returning to the Staff Pick comment, Lego explains that the set will go into Lego Review once the set accumulates 10,000 votes. So the Untitled Goose Game set is only a third of the way there, but seeing the increasingly growing support for the set, it is only a matter of time before reaching the necessary mount of votes. Then Lego will determine if the set is suitable to go into production.

Would you buy this Lego set if it reaches retail status?

Untitled Goose Game is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
