Since the inception of the Nintendo Switch nearly five years ago in March 2017, it was evident the success the platform will bring to self-named Nintendo down the line. It was not long before the console outsold the Wii U at 13 million. However, it came as a surprise learning that the Nintendo Switch in just a couple of years overtook lifetime sales of the Nintendo 3DS which stood firmly at 76 million sold units.

Additionally, the pattern continued with the Game Boy Advanced: the hardware is recorded at 81.51 million units sold, but, Nintendo Switch managed to take down another handheld juggernaut on behalf of itself. The most recent financial report from Nintendo reveals the Nintendo Switch selling more than 92.87 million units. Ahead of the holiday, it was expected the platform could overtake the legend Wii following another commercial season.

In the latest financial report from Nintendo reveals the new high for Nintendo Switch is 103.54 million units. The milestone overtakes the Nintendo Wii which is at 101.63 and the PlayStation recorded at 102.50 million as per vgchartz. You can read the full list for top 10 video game sales in below:
