Essentially since the showing of the recent Halo Infinite gameplay demonstration just over a month ago, there surely has been some lingering rumors that attempt to deflate the anticipation for the coming installment. Shortly after the demo was broadcasted, Brad Sams claimed that the multiplayer portion would ship after launch this holiday season. But it was short lived after 343 Industries flattened the rumor to be inaccurate.
Howbeit, the rumors continued to seep through the cracks despite the studio denouncing prior claims. Recently, it was reported that 343 Industries is on the verge of pulling the plug on the game’s Xbox One version. Credible leaker Sponger disclosed that the firm is contemplating to do so. But, they also spared that the team also had a 2022 release on the table. Unfortunately, many took the rumor as fact with how little time has passed since the statement.
Now days following the recent claims circulating around Halo Infinite has began to make waves online, 343 Industries again emerge to deflate any illegitimate information. Community Manager John Junyszek on Twitter made a statement in response to the claims that one user began asking.
As you can gather from the statement, 343 Industries has verified that both statements regarding the possibility of a 2022 release for Halo Infinite alongside the discarding of the Xbox One version is both inaccurate. And while Sponger has been deemed legitimate previously, some information is unfortunately not tangible to reality.
Expanding on the timing for Halo Infinite’s release, there is a close bet suggesting the title will ship in Q121. On the recent Animal Talking interview between Phil Spencer and host Gary Whitta, the talk show lead asked what happens in the meantime as “Halo will push to sometime in Q1” where Spencer did not deflect the question. What are you most reassured from 343 Industries recent statement?
Halo Infinite is scheduled to ship sometime in 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
