Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon Announced At 2022 The Game Awards

To FromSoftware, the team is still running on the high that is Elden Ring. While only shipping in early 2022, it was swiftly deemed a Game of the Year contender at the time. By March, the game was already ranked one of the fastest-selling releases this year. In addition to that, the game was marked to shipping 12 million copies within its first month to the public.

Additionally, the game went on to face several nominations including the aforementioned Game of the Year award at this year’s The Game Awards. Closing the show, it was revealed that Elden Ring won when going against God of War Ragnarok, Stray, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Horizon Forbidden West.

But, FromSoftware did not truly shake the stage with that. In a world premiere trailer, the Japanese developer alongside Bandai Namco announced Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. Even more is the game is slated to ship in 2023 next year.
