What might not feel like a long time looking back now, developer Asobo Studio launched Microsoft Flight Simulator over a month ago now. Scheduled for a mid August release, the game instantly picked up traction thanks to the monstrous scope of the world that can be explored – real-time earth. Thanks to technology sourced by Microsoft-owned Bing Maps, the world we are well-familiar with is now a digital playground.
That including the photo-realistic imagery that can be achieved when playing on the best optimized PCs also illustrates what might be the first premature generational leap to the new standard for gaming in general. But reverting back to the time since the game’s release, Microsoft has unveiled a new trailer for the game to showcase the new update underway for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

In other Microsoft Flight Simulator new elsewhere, it is speculated that the current PC exclusive title could be hitting consoles close to the release of the Xbox Series X.
