With the console generation just a few months beyond these moments today, many fans are curious as to what will truly define the divide between current-generation consoles to its successor. The Xbox Series X and its counterpart PlayStation 5 while offering similar performing architecture truly differentiate with what is offered in the measure of software. Howbeit, the question is truly posed unto Microsoft following the unfortunate delay of Halo Infinite.
Now that the platform’s juggernaut franchise is taking a breather into 2021, followers look to other reasoning to dictate whether to purchase an Xbox Series X this November. And one particular entry could be shipping just in time for the next-generation console. That being Microsoft Flight Simulator: it is suggested the latest entry in the three decade-old series could be hitting consoles just in time of the Xbox Series X’s release.
Coming from a post by user @xThe0x0 on Twitter, they state that Microsoft Flight Simulator does have the opportunity to be arriving during the Xbox Series X launch window. Even clarifying that it is plausible based on a claim from one insider, what leans it towards a tangible possibility is that developer Studio Asobo even liked the tweet as well.
The claim that the Twitter user is referencing is one made by Xbox & Microsoft insider @XcloudTimdog on Twitter. When asked as to when he could suspect the game to arrive later on, he responded that the title would be issued during the Xbox Series X “launch window”. Timdog previously proven to speak accurately on the Xbox 20/20 event that would take place in May prior to its announcement.
And it is not secret that a console version for Xbox Series X is certainly underway. It was briefly after the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator last month that the Microsoft Store listed both Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions of the game before being delisted. Howbeit, it is a surprise to hear that the game does have the possibility of hitting both platforms just months following the PC release in August.
In other news, it was disclosed last week during the Gamescom Opening Night Live show that Insomniac Games’ Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart would be arriving sometime during the PlayStation 5 launch window as well. You can read the full report by heading here.
Do you think Microsoft Flight Simulator could hit console this later holiday season?
