In a return to form, Assassin’s Creed Mirage did so successfully. From our review, we wrote that the game “gives you an engaging Assassin experience that enhances gameplay […] it’s a solid game that is worth exploring.” And this proved to be true as the game earned the best-selling next-generation release for Ubisoft.
Additionally, there are more plans for the game. From Apple, it was revealed the game is planned to ship for iOS on the iPhone 15 Pro & iPhone 15 Pro Max. There is more to that with Apple giving a full roster of devices that the game can play on beyond its iOS storefront. The only thing left vacant is the release date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
According to Ubisoft in a new blog post, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is prepared to launch for iOS App Store this June. The 2023 title will launch just days before the returning Ubisoft Forward presentation this summer. “Starting on June 6, players with compatible devices will be able to download Assassin’s Creed Mirage from the App Store and play free for 90 minutes, after which the full version can be unlocked with a single in-app purchase.”
Mikel Reparaz, Ubisoft editorial communications manager continues: “Telling the story of Basim, a young street thief recruited by the Hidden Ones to eventually grow into a Master Assassin, Assassin’s Creed Mirage features cross-progression and cross-save, enabling players to switch between the mobile, console, or PC versions while keeping their progress. The mobile version also features touchscreen controls created to be comfortable and intuitive on iPhone and iPad, while also supporting external controllers.”
Alongside AAA titles, iPhone is expecting major waves in gaming this year. Already, rom emulators were finally enabled on the platform for the first time earlier this April.
