So far for this month, Xbox Game Pass has taken new directions that still surprises its players. For one, the service adopted new titles like Neon White as well as Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess in respective updates. Additionally, new access to the subscription was also granted to a wider audience. In that, Amazon Fire Stick was enabled to stream Xbox Game Pass from the device without the need of a console.
What’s more is what’s paved ahead for Xbox Game Pass. Already, titles Diablo IV & Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 were confirmed for the service from the Activision Blizzard deal. One report went on to indicate that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is also on the horizon this month. In a separate follow-up, it was noted that the expected release is to come July 24th this month.
On Tuesday, Microsoft officially announces Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is finally coming to Xbox Game Pass this week. Although the new price changes are questionable for new day one releases, Modern Warfare III is coming to all versions of Xbox Game Pass, the blog post reads.
“Get ready to lock in and load(out) as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III makes its way to Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate starting July 24! Featuring a high-octane single player campaign, energetic multiplayer and the series’ first open world Zombies experience, this game offers something for every type of CoD player.“
As Microsoft begins to ramp up more titles for the service – Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Transformers – it appears the firm is to generate a glowing amount of revenue by next year. Ampere Analysis indicates that $5.5 billion is expected to be gross revenue for the service sometime in 2025. You can read the full report by heading here.
