Over the past month, hallmark video game adaptation The Witcher is back in the spotlight as the third season and final casting for Henry Cavill is to take place. At the end of June, Season 3 Volume 1 aired. Later on July 27th Season 3 Volume 2 officially shipped. Moving forward, the series is to recast Geralt of Rivia with Liam Hemsworth (Hunger Games: Catching Fire).
As for other recognized series on Netflix, Castlevania is in the works. Previously, it was reported that a new spin-off show starring Richter Belmont was on the way. It was not until June last year that Netflix officially titles the TV series ‘Castlevania Nocturne’. However, it was not clear when exactly the show was planned to release. But, now a year later the airing is almost here.
In a recent trailer for the new animated series, Castlevania Nocturne official releases this September. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“France, 1792: It begins. A new animated series in the Castlevania universe from showrunners Kevin Kolde (“Castlevania”) and Clive Bradley (“Trapped”),” the brief synopsis from Netflix reads for the show. The show marks another animated series to air this fall from Netflix. Already, Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix was confirmed to hit the service later this year.
Other recent Netflix releases, Sonic Prime season 2 aired earlier in July. The new entry of episodes was also accompanied by Sonic Prime Dash which integrates the classic Sonic Dash mobile game with a few spins from the television show. You can read the full report by heading here.
