The storyline behind Crea-ture Studios’ Session and its journey to Xbox Game Preview is a lengthy and unintended tale that happened to be for the anticipated skateboarding title. It was reported all the way back in August that while the team planned to ship the Early Access version for Steam on PC, the Xbox One iteration for Xbox Game Preview was aimed to arrive later on in October.
However, the story continued on by later unveiling that Session for Xbox One was unfortunately facing a push to late fall due to complications on the studio’s behalf and asked for fans to be patient in the time being. But even then that was not enough time for the game to ship the build at the rescheduled timeframe. It wasn’t revealed until mid February that the Canadian team shared another delay aimed for spring. Crea-ture Studios told in the update post that it has pick up an additional studio to assist in the porting process.
Now, ILLOGIKA will be handling the console version while the initial team continues refining the version of Session on PC. But in a new reveal in Twitter, Crea-ture Studios shares that Session is inbound for Xbox Game Preview starting on June 17 next Wednesday.
In anticipation for the announcement, Crea-ture Studios also shipped a trial that Xbox One users can install by heading here.
“Inspired by the golden era of skateboarding, Session’s primary goal is to make you experience what skateboarding really is; an incredible culture where there are no other goals other than expressing your creativity and achieving success through hard work, perseverance and bits of madness for no one else other than yourself,” the title’s synopsis read on its Xbox Store page.
