While THQ Nordic surely is pulling on the heart strings of beloved fans with the recent remake that is SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, it should also be noted that fans elsewhere also received the same treatment for Destroy All Humans! as well. In that, developer Black Forest Games recaptured the original experience from 2005 with a complete makeover to the original assets.

Although there was no certainty for a follow-up, publisher THQ Nordic did hint that updates on beloved properties are to be revisited at a coming anniversary livestream for the firm recently. From that already, we witnessed that announcement for SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake so far. And, that of course goes on to extend its reach to Destroy All Humans!

In a separate reveal did THQ Nordic & Black Forest Games unveil Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

“Crypto is back with a license to probe. The alien invader returns, groovier than ever. Experience the swinging ‘60s in all its chemical-induced glory and take revenge on the KGB for blowing up your mothership. You’ll have to form alliances with members of the very species you came to enslave,” the description reads on the official website for the game.

Again in similarity to SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, details are still fairly limited in terms of when the game is perceived to release. However, the game is only listed for the current Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 for consoles – potentially leaving out hope for the last-generation siblings to receive native support.

What do you think about Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed so far?

Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is listed for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
