EA Sports Reveals FIFA 22 For October 1st Release, Showcases New EA HyperMotion Technology

While announcements make impact for games unexpected, the same cannot be said for annual installments. Although respected series are anticipated each year, the new features that come alongside are always welcomes. For FIFA 21 last year, that was a prime reason to grow excited with the large difference between the Xbox One/PlayStation 4 versions to Xbox Series X|S/PlayStation 5.

And now, the same can be said for FIFA 22 even more. On Sunday, EA Sports unveiled the next iteration alongside showcasing the new HyperMotion Technology that will be utilized to feature realistic character model movements unlike games prior in the series. FIFA 22 is also revealed to feature Paris Saint-Germain and the France football player Kylian Mbappé on the cover once again.

You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

“FIFA 22 offers millions of fans around the world a chance to engage with the sport they love in an unprecedented way,” Nick Wlodyka, EA Sports FIFA General Manager said. “Each player experiences FIFA in their own way but on-pitch gameplay is the unifying constant, so we’re excited to offer deep innovation there. HyperMotion elevates that even further on next-gen consoles and Stadia and completely changes the feel of the game.”

Similar to how Madden 21 & FIFA 21 was offered last year, Dual Entitlements still remains a specialty to digital copy owners, EA shares. Additionally, the firm also discloses that cross-generation play between console families is available, but not full cross-platform play between consoles.

Previously, EA Sports shared that both Patrick Mahomes & Tom Brady to share the cover for Madden NFL 22. The game is said to arrive on August 20 next month. You can read the full report by heading here.
