One of the biggest surprises that came from Capcom in the last year happened to be the announcement for Exoprimal. And what even surpassed the initial take away from the first reveal happened to be an update on the title. In that, it would be an entirely new IP rather than an intertwined entry that follows the previous Dino Crisis series.
And while that left many fans hurt on the state of the Dino Crisis franchise, Capcom plans to move ahead with the release for Exoprimal later this summer. In fact, the game is launching this July on the latest consoles & PC. Even more, Exoprimal is said to be a day & Date release over on Xbox Game Pass for subscribers to indulge in the coming month.
Out of the blue – similar to the game’s reveal – Exoprimal is to receive a collab update featuring a Mecha Ryu from Street Fighter 6, Summer Game Fest unveiled. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
Now recently in terms of Street Fighter 6, the game launched at the beginning of June and is already on to a good start. Within its first week, Street Fighter 6 managed to sell over one million copies. According to one projection from Capcom, the game is expected to be the most popular yet aiming to ship more than 10 million games for lifetime sales.
Over on Steam, the title already broke records being the most-played fighting game on the platform with over 60,000 players. In our review we wrote: “Street Fighter 6 is the most casual, and accessible minded fighting game, without sacrificing any depth for the hardcore players,” with a score of 9/10.
