Stretching across the ongoing Apex Legends free-to-play model, developer Respawn Entertainment has yet to cease on new content for the 2019 release. It was just this past August in which Season 14 – Hunted arrived. The update welcomed new Legend Vantage alongside a remodeled Kings Canyon. But, the mid-season additions is where players grow ecstatic, of course.
Just last week, the Beast of Prey Collection Event went live and is still ongoing until next Tuesday. Players can jump into a new game mode, Gun Run. Similar to Gun Game from Call of Duty, players engage in 3v3v3v3 combat and together rank up your arsenal to the final throwing knife. Atop of that, Season 5 Legend Loba received the war fan heirloom which many fans were counting the days to releasing.
In a new announcement on Thursday, Respawn Entertainment revealed the annual Halloween event ‘Fight or Fright’ is returning with a new arrangement of limited-time game modes from October 4th to November 1st. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“Shadow Royale returns this season. Take a trip in this terrifying twist of Trios, where any killed Legend respawns in shadow form. Shadows can run on walls, double jump, revive allies, and deliver extra melee damage. Other Shadows fall with one punch, and their living teammates aren’t far behind. Shadows, both friends and foes, endlessly spawn until their entire squad is eliminated,” the team writes.
“This time around, Revenant haunts a new realm for your nightmares. A blood moon hangs over the city in the sky. Walk through the dark streets, Fight in the fright night arena, and banish legends to the shadow realm in Olympus After Dark. “Additionally, the developer schedules Shadow Royale to alternate with Control and Gun Run over a four-week period leading up to the next season of Apex Legends.
