As many fans can gather from the current events at Fortnite, the ongoing battle royale and more continues to expand its menu for gameplay experiences. Namely in previous months is the Imposters Mode: as you can gather from the title alone, it sticks very close to the basis of Among Us with a unique Fortnite flavor to bring players in. However, Epic Games is preparing the shift to Chapter 3 for the game with Season 1 on the horizon.
For the new beginning for Fortnite, Epic Games is going all out with additions including Marvel’s webhead Spider-Man and The Foundation – the leader of a new group tied to the Fortnite lore starred by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. More eye-opening is another platform exclusive duo is coming to the game: Marcus Fenix & Kait Diaz are now in Fortnite as well.
This is not the first for Xbox IPs making an appearance with Master Chief alongside PlayStation’s Kratos from God of War also making a debut last year. You can watch the Chapter 3 trailer in the video below:
Most interesting about the arrangement between Epic Games & The Coalition is that is all goes full circle. The original Gears of War trilogy for Xbox 360 was developed by Epic Games at the time and when transitioning to the Gears of War: Judgement after got handed to Splash Damage before The Coalition was founded as the dedicated studio for the Gears IP..
Back in Spring, Fortnite went on to introduce Horizon Zero Dawn’s Alloy to the game. Not only did a skin or the character make an appearance, but also a unique pickaxe, glider, and emote was included with a launch bundle for the character crossover. You can read the full report by heading here.
