gears of war e-day direct

There have been many reports coming out on Friday, January 10 regarding Microsofts top franchises including Halo and Flight Simulator potentially coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. The leaker known as NateTheHate also came out and talked about the Gears of War franchise and what we could expect.

NateTheHate claims that Gears of War E-Day could be released in late 2025. Along with that, a Gears of War Collection does exist and could also be released this year.

Microsoft announced its annual Xbox Developer_Direct which is set to take place on January 23, 2025. The show will feature Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, and a surprise game. Could it be Gears of War? That remains to be seen.

Gears of War E-Day was announced at the Xbox Games Showcase last June. It’s a prequel that is set 14 years before the events of the original Gears of War and tells the story of the first Locust emergence on Sera.

It is obviously expected to be released on PC and Xbox Series X|S, but other platforms remain to be seen.
