
Now just close to eight years since the initial release of Grand Theft Auto V, the game is releasing again for the newest Xbox & PlayStation systems on the market. At the time of its original announcement, Rockstar Games did not present official gameplay of the title running on its targeted hardware. However, the team is expected to share footage with time running out before its release.
In that, the developer shared that Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 is to ship later this November. Atop of that, GTA Online is to launch for free at no additional charge on PlayStation 5 for the first three months, but at a later date. But, November now appears to be overly ambitious even for Rockstar Games it appears.
At the PlayStation 5 Showcase on Thursday, Grand Theft Auto V is now arriving in March next year for both systems. You can watch the new trailer and fresh gameplay in the video below:
“While we are extremely excited to be bringing GTAV to the latest generation of consoles, the game requires a few additional months for polishing and fine-tuning. We look forward to sharing more details about these expanded and enhanced versions soon, including the new standalone version of GTA Online also coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in March,” Rockstar Games writes on its website.
Additionally, Rockstar Games is rumored to be working its magic to redeliver other memorable entries from the series. In that, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is told be receiving remasters with Unreal Engine 4 for the current console hardware, Kotaku indicates.
