After more than a decade of waiting, Rockstar Games broke its silence of Grand Theft Auto VI. When the trailer leaked online, instead of silently ignoring it, the firm instead embraced the opportunity and aired it ahead of its promised window. Since then, the trailer broke the internet and generated more than 90 million views in its first 24 hours.

Of course, that even outnumbers the previous record held by Grand Theft Auto V ten years prior. Additionally, other details pertaining to the game did surface. In that, information revealed that the core storyline for Grand Theft Auto VI would offer roughly 40 hours of gameplay. Even more is that well-known artist T-Pain is also attached to the game, he revealed in a livestream previously.

This week, as part of the Take-Two Interactive earnings report, it is revealed that Grand Theft Auto VI is in fact arriving in 2025. Before, it was confirmed that the game would ship that year. But unlike previous Rockstar Games fashion, there is no sign of a delay for the new game. What’s more is that the title is aimed for a fall 2025 release next year.

“As we enter Fiscal 2025 with positive momentum, we expect to deliver Net Bookings of $5.55 to $5.65 billion. Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI. We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase,” CEO Strauss Zelnick says.

Already, there are reports that clean up for Grand Theft Auto VI is here if not already begun. In February, it was disclosed that Rockstar Games are already at the final stage of development. This means that debug and post-production for the highly-anticipated game is near. You can read the full report by heading here.
