Halo Infinite Officially Goes Gold With Less Than Three Weeks Until Its Release


Although it has been quite some time since anticipation for a new Halo game as bubbled parallel to releases such as Halo 3 more than a decade ago, the upcoming Halo Infinite is shaping up to be the title that many fans awaited for the series since developer 343 Industries took the reigns after the departure of Bungie. Most recently, the developer during the Xbox Anniversary Livestream in a surprise announcement launched the multiplayer version for Halo Infinite’s beta.

Currently, the game is being enjoyed by thousands of users across Xbox & PC with many vocally dictating the title to be the most authentic take on the series in the past decade. In anticipation for post-launch plans for the game, 343 Industries went on to share that co-op campaign is aimed for its arrival coming May 2022. However, Forge Mode will not come until much later on it appears.

While much of the motion from Halo Infinite this week is still active, 343 Industries announced that Halo Infinite officially goes gold and plans to arrives this coming December as promised.

Earlier on, 343 Industries shared a campaign overview for Halo Infinite showcasing the events that will take place in the open-world segments of Halo Infinite’s story mode. Expanding on that, major outlets received hands-on time with the game reassuring that most of the expectations for this alien take for Halo alongside the new upgrading system only improves the original formula of the IP.

Elsewhere recently, Paramount+ revealed a brief teaser for the upcoming Halo Television Series. The footage revealed actor Pablo Schreiber in full costume with Cortana voice actor Jen Taylor saying, “Say hello Master Chief”. You can read the full report by heading here.
