Originally, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was platformed as the game that would separate the divide between Xbox-only & multiplatform releases from Microsoft. That was until the firm announced that a PlayStation 5 version is coming. Aiming to launch in early 2025, there has been other major PlayStation 5 news regarding Xbox Game Studios.
Since then, we’ve witnessed the addition of Xbox exclusives now coming to the platform: Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Age of Mythology: Retold, and Forza Horizon 5. Not to mention the already scheduled release for Doom: The Dark Ages coming this May as well as the undated Lucasarts Games title, there doesn’t seem to be a plug on this inflow of games from Microsoft.
On Monday, Bethesda announced that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will officially come to PlayStation 5 in April. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
“Step into Indy’s shoes in a race against sinister forces that will take you around the world – from the halls of the Vatican and the ancient pyramids of Gizeh to the snow-capped Himalayas and the sunken temples of Sukhothai in Thailand. PlayStation fans can now join in on that critically acclaimed experience,” the blog post reads.
“Since its launch on Xbox last Decem-ber, The Great Circle has been awarded the D.I.C.E. Adventure Game of the Year; achieved over 40 perfect scores from outlets like Sports Illustrated, GamesRadar+, and Eurogamer; and was featured in more than 50 ‘Best of’ and ‘Game of the Year’ lists in 2024.”
