Dating back to this past July Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is just coming off the airwaves after making an enormous shockwave on the PlayStation follower base as the new title will be releasing uniquely for PlayStation 5 when it releases later this holiday season. What made the title even more recognized that month came from the developer when it shared the box art for the game – also unveiling the packaging for the next-generation console.
The developer while also occupied with the development for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart illustrates to offer a impressive glimpse at the standalone entry for the series. But for fans anticipating to get a first-hand look at the game, Sony Interactive Entertainment presented a full demo of the game offering roughly ten minutes of in-engine rendered gameplay during today’s PlayStation 5 showcase.

“Miles is searching for a sense of belonging in his vibrant new neighborhood, but a war has broken out between a devious energy corporation, Roxxon, and a high-tech criminal army, the Underground,” Insomniac Games’ Community Director James Stevenson shares a synapse for the demo. “Meanwhile the Underground also attacks a Roxxon convoy on the Braithwaite Bridge in an attempt to steal NuForm energy canisters.
“NuForm is a highly violate energy source that Roxxon promises can power the entire city cleanly. Here we meet the leader of the Underground, the brilliant Tinkerer. Marvel fans will surely recognize the name of this villain from the comics, but we’re very excited to introduce you to our take on this classic Spider-Man villain.”
Over on Twitter, Insomniac Games shares that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be arriving on launch day for the PlayStation 5, November 12 and later on November 19 for Europe and other regions later on. The title will be priced for $49.99 for both physical and digital versions of the game. In addition to that, fans will also receive a free remastered version of 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man.
The title was previously caught in an article from Game Informer that the new standalone release will offer a reworking of the initial title. Now, it is officially out and Insomniac Games also emphasizes that Marvel’s Spider-Man will also be included with the full City That Never Sleeps DLC expansion as well.
